About three years ago, when Tomas Majetic was first introduced to world renown wheelchair tennis star Charlie Cooper, Majetic merely admired. He never could have imagined competing on the same level — much less alongside — Cooper, the teenager prodigy from La Quinta, California. Fast forward a few years, not only is Majetic very much on Cooper's level, he's his doubles partner. Fellow Boulder resident Sabina Czauz — a practice partner of Majetic's at the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center in Boulder — has risen up the competitive wheelchair tennis ranks just as sharply over the past couple years.
