Kipling Street southbound is shut down at the Interstate 70 exchange in Wheat Ridge by a multi-vehicle crash that involved police officers' attempts to stop a vehicle with a homicide suspect inside. Arvada police on Tuesday afternoon, acting on a request from Northglenn police, were attempting to stop a homicide suspect when the crash happened, Arvada police spokesperson Det. Dave Snelling said. Police in unmarked cars were following the suspect vehicle south on Kipling Street in heavy traffic, Snelling said.
